2013 Hyundai Elantra GT Review

Hyundai today released full pricing details and equipment specifications for the new 2013 Elantra GT.
The five-door hatchback model that is known as the i30 in Europe and elsewhere goes on sale in the U.S. later this month with a starting price of $18,395 for the six-speed manual gearbox model and $19,395 for the six-speed automatic transmission version, with both MSRPs excluding a destination and handling fee of $775.

Under the hood, the Ford Focus-sized Elantra GT is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine delivering 148 horsepower and 131 lb-ft of torque, along with an EPA estimated highway fuel economy of 39 mpg regardless of the transmission choice.
Standard features include alloy wheels, seven airbags, daytime running lights, air conditioning with cooled glove box, an audio system with iPod and MP3 auxiliary input jacks plus steering wheel mounted controls, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System with voice recognition, remote keyless entry system with alarm, and cruise control.
Hyundai also offers numerous optional packages including one named "Style" that comes with a sportier suspension calibration and lower-profile P215/45R17 tires.
