2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe FuelCulture

Hyundai and FuelCulture have teamed up to create a distinctive Genesis Coupe concept for the 2012 SEMA show that shows the personal customization that can be achieved by an individual enthusiast, with a limited budget, resulting in a total vehicle concept as unique as its driver.

On the exterior, this is one of the first wide-body kits for the Genesis Coupe, and the finished product looks phenomenal. The interior compliments the exterior perfectly, with richly-textured suede instrument panels, Alcantara® seats and polished pedals.
From engine and suspension upgrades, to everything in between, the partnership between Hyundai and FuelCulture exhibits how easily car customization can be achieved. The tuned Genesis Coupe, in a brilliant Apple Red exterior finish, is set to achieve 315 horsepower and 242 lb.-ft. of torque.

2012 Hyundai Veloster JP Edition. The JP Edition concept debuts at the 2012 SEMA show under the Hyundai banner. Paint supplier BASF was consulted as the unique supplier of the Mint Green exterior finish for the concept.

The 1.6-liter, direct-injected Veloster engine receives an ARK performance exhaust, while the suspension adds KW coilovers, Whiteline sway bars and anti-lift kit, and a Brembo® big brake kit. Blacked-out Ray’s Gram Lights Xtreme57 Wheels and Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tires fill in the bright mint green TS Designs fender flares by Jon Sibal.

2012 Wheelsandmore Lamborghini LP620-4 Green Beret Review

Based on the current Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4, the Green Beret from Wheelsandmore offers a fiery upgrade from their Lamborghini portfolio. The tuner combines a handmade, stainless steel exhaust system with a digitally program-able, remote-operated valve control with special carbon-frame airfilters and a remapped software electronics, achieving in additionally 50 hp and 50 nm of torque.
Visually the new 6Sporz² wheels immediately catches the eye and are perfecting the well-trained super athlete tuning-creation of the refiner. The handcrafted, multi-piece forged wheels are rotating at the steering axle sizing 9.0 x 20 inches with 245/30/20 tires and at the rear axle with 11,0×20 inches rims and 295/25/20 Continental Sport Contact tires of the type 5p. Due to it´s 3-piece wheel design all components can be finished on customer’s option in several colors and surfaces. To give the “Green Beret” an unobstrusive but sporty look, the forged wheels were finsihed matte-black with a small car-colored outline.

To lent the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4 more aggressive occurrence and sportier performance, the German tuner adapted a race established special coilover with adjustable rebound and compression, hydraulically liftable around 1.77 inch, called LCS (level-control-system).

2012 Land Rover Defender XTech Special Edition

While Land Rover's designers and engineers are making plans for the next generation of the Defender, the firm's marketing division has set its sights on the current model with the presentation of a new special edition version called the XTech. The new Defender XTech is a follow up to a special edition version with the same name from 2011.

Available in 90 Hard Top (three-door) and 110 Utility Wagon (five-door) body styles, the XTech is offered with a choice of two colors, Orkney Grey or Nara Bronze, which is unique to this model, contrasted by the Santorini Black roof and wheel arches and black chequer plate along the bumper and sills.

Other highlights of the exterior include the ‘DEFENDER’ decal above the rear LED lights, the black surround for the headlamps, a body colored front grille, a rear step bumper, and the Gloss Black Saw Tooth 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped around MTR off-road tyres.

Inside, the seats and the central panel are color matched to the body color, while the Land Rover logo is embossed on front headrests and carpet mats have the Defender logo woven in.

Standard features include Air Conditioning, Anti-Lock Brakes with Electronic Traction Control, central locking with remote control and heated seats and windscreen.

Power for the XTech comes from Land Rover's 2.2-liter turbo diesel with 120hp and 265 lb-ft (360Nm) of peak torque, linked to a six-speed manual transmission.

In the UK, the Defender XTech is available for order now with prices starting from £27,995.

Audi A1 Amplified 2012 Review

Audi A1 Amplified 2012 Review, The new edition models are based on the Ambition line, which is available for all engine versions of both models. The models combine exclusive optional features from Audi, quattro GmbH and Audi Genuine Accessories. In the amplified red line, the body is painted in Misano Red pearl effect, while the amplified white is painted in Glacier White metallic. Both lines are available in three different equipment levels that build on each other.

The A1 amplified red edition models are available now, and the amplified white versions will follow shortly. Prices start at €1,990, while the two higher levels are priced at €3,990 and €6,990.

2012 Opel Astra GTC Review

Compared to the five-door Astra, the ride height of the GTC is lowered by 15 mm while the basic dimensions of the chassis slightly increase. Due to extended control arms in the rear, the wheelbase grows by 10 mm, from 2,685 to 2,695 mm. Both tracks are wider, at 1,584 mm (+ 40 mm) in front and 1,588 mm (+ 30 mm) in the rear.
The Opel Astra GTC can be ordered immediately with a choice of four powertrains – one diesel and three gasoline units. The upgraded 2.0 CDTI common-rail turbo diesel engine with output raised to 121 kW/165 hp is fitted with a diesel particulate filter and a six-speed manual transmission. Opel’s new Start/Stop technology which reduces fuel consumption in urban stop and go traffic is standard equipment. The 2.0 CDTI combines excellent performance with high efficiency. It delivers up to 380 Nm of torque thanks to an overboost function and allows the Astra GTC to reach 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds. Top speed is 210 km/h. The combined fuel consumption does not exceed 4.9 liters of diesel per 100 km and CO2 emissions are 129 g/km. With its 56-liter fuel tank, the Opel Astra GTC 2.0 CDTI can cover over 1,100 km.

Start/Stop is also standard with the two 1.4 turbo-compressed gasoline engines with 88 kW/120 hp and 103 kW/140 hp outputs. Both have a six-speed manual gearbox, deliver 200 Nm of torque and require 5.9 liters of fuel per 100 km (139 g/km CO2). The gasoline offer is currently topped by the 132 kW/180 hp 1.6 turbo with six-speed manual transmission, which has a top speed of 220 km/h.
Four powertrains and two trim levels can be ordered as of June 7, 2011. Prices so far range from 21,750 euro (Opel Astra GTC Enjoy 1.4 Turbo 88 kW/120 hp) to 27,855 euro (Astra GTC Sport 2.0 CDTI 121 kW/165 hp).

2012 Fiat Viaggio Sedan Review

2012 Fiat Viaggio Sedan, The Fiat Group and its Chinese partner Guangzhou Auto (GAC) celebrated the completion of their new joint-venture factory in Changsha and the rollout of the first series production Viaggio sedan on Thursday.
The new plant covers an area of 730,000 square meters and is the result of a 5 billion Yuan (US$787 million) joint venture between Fiat and GAC, which is China's sixth largest vehicle manufacturer.

The two partners plan to build up to 140,000 Viaggio sedans a year. The Fiat sedan is based on the 2013 Dodge Dart with some subtle design changes to the front and rear ends as well as the interior.

In China, the Viaggio will be available with a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines, a 1.4-litre T-Jet with 120hp and 150hp, and either a 5-speed manual gearbox or the Dual Dry Clutch Transmission (DDTC).
