On 24th August, Toyota has launched its most awaited SUV Toyota Fortuner in Indian market with only one diesel variant. Currently, Toyota has launched only one variant of Toyota Fortuner which is equipped with Toyota’s most popular 3.0L diesel engine with five speed manual transmission gearboxand with 4WD (Four Wheel Drive). If the market response of Toyota Fortuner will be good then Toyota will launch the other variants of Toyota Fortuner like, petrol variants, AT (Automatic Transmission) variants etc. Toyota has kept Indian customers to wait for Toyota Fortuner for quite some more time.

It is expected that Toyota has launched Toyota Fortuner in India with a face-lifted model of an existing Toyota Fortuner which has been recently launched in Malaysia.
